Theory and Practical Tests
Before taking the practical driving test you will need to pass the Theory test. Find out all you need to know on the following web site. Only go through the official web site www.direct.gov.uk/drivingtest any other site may cost you more for services you do not require. The cost of the theory test today is £31.00. You also have the opportunity to take two practise theory tests on this site.
You may be happy to research this on your own accord or your driving instructor will be happy to offer help if required but of course we will ensure that you are able to apply this knowledge during your driving lessons.
After discussing with your driving instructor whether you are ready for your practical driving test this may also be booked through the official web site www.direct.gov.uk/drivingtest.
You dont have to pass the theory before taking lessons as you will learn a lot of theory in the car.
